We are currently the proud owners of ten adorable dairy goats. Our dairy goat adventure started as a simple 4-H and FFA project. However, in just two years we have learned more about dairy goats than we ever could have imagined. We strive to breed animals with good temperaments, correct conformation, excellent producing ability, and solid pedigrees. We breed animals that can perform in the show ring and in the bucket. Our herd is tested CAE and CL negative annually and we have never had any other illnesses in our herd. All of our goats are loved and well cared for. Most of our goats have roots in Kastdemurs, Lassenwod, Redwood Hills, Waiilatpu, and Sweet Dreams herds- just to name a few. Feel free to check out their pedigrees and pictures. Kid reservations are available for spring 2014. Please contact us if you are interested!
CAE and CL negative as of fall 2013

NIC'S STATION KPP RACHEL*RAY
PEDIGREE
Rachel is a three year old registered Nubian who freshened March 2013 with beautiful triplets and again in June 2014 with another set of gorgeous triplets. We are so impressed with her production. As a first freshener, she steadily gave us over a gallon (8 pounds) per day since just one month fresh. Her udder has great capacity, strong medial suspensory ligaments, and good teat placement. She also has very correct legs and depth of body, while remaining very dairy at the same time. She is strong in general appearance and is just an all around solid doe. We don't think Rachel will have any problem earning her milk star as soon as we get her tested next summer. Being a granddaughter of the famous +*B Kastdemur's King of the Hill and SGCH Kastdemur's Mystere 2*M , we would have expected nothing less. :)

ALMA DE LUNA HEIDI
PEDIGREE
Heidi is a 2 year old first freshening registered American Alpine. In just the last year and a half, I have been absolutely amazed as I watched Heidi grow and mature so much. When I shaved her down spring 2013, my breath was taken away. When she placed 4th out of 15 Alpine yearlings at the NVDGA show, I was astounded! Heidi has only continued to wow us, winning Junior Champion at the 2013 Tehama District Fair and Reserve Champion 2 year old as an FF at the 2014 Shasta Distruct Fair. It has been absolutely amazing how she has grown from an akward, young kid into a beautiful adult doe. She has excellent length of body, spring of rib, and correct slope to the rump. She is very dairy and stylish as she moves around the ring. It seems like she looks better and better every time I see her- her topline is long and straight and her rump is so wide and level. She freshened with an extremely well attached udder, correct teat placement, and ample production (even with a kid to feed). Heidi has lots of genetic background in California dairies and has quickly turned into a real star at our farm! We are very excited to see how her daughter matures for us!
Recent Show Wins: Reserve Champion 2 year old, Champion Junior Doe, First Place Dry Yearling, shown by First Place FFA Showman

LIBERTY RANCH CARIBBEAN BLEND
PEDIGREE
We are so excited for the opportunity to add this gorgeous Lamancha yearling to our herd! Caribbean is the newest addition here at our farm, and she fits right in! She is very mellow and friendly. Unfortunately, Caribbean was not well cared for at her last home and had a recent eye injury. Thankfully, her breeder saved her, and now we are working together to help bring her up to her full potential. Her pedigree is extremely impressive, and we can't wait to see her come into her own and overcome a difficult beginning. She has multiple star milkers and *B bucks in her recent genetic history. As a kid, she placed 1st, 1st, and 2nd in three rings and placed 4th as a 2 year old FF in a large class. Her sire, Goat San-Babys Morning Aribica, is a gorgeous buck who is closely related to numerous national champions. Her grandsire, GCH Elm*Glen Brazil, is also a very accomplished buck whose dam was 2nd at Nationals three years in a row and his granddam was 1st. She freshened with a very correct udder and has really filled out in the past year. We are excited to see her production once her son is weaned. With her pedigree, we are sure to not be disappointed!

Junior Does:
OAK HOLLOW RANCH LNP OREO
PEDIGREE
Oreo is the triplet sister of Nutmeg and Cookie, and daughter of Rachel. Oreo is an incredibly smoothly blended Nubian doeling with correct leg placement and angulation. She is graceful, yet sturdy at the same time. I admire the way she moves so effortlessly. Oreo is a very long doeling with a nearly perfect slope to her topline and a welded escuchen. You should see her run! :D In the May NVDGA show she took second twice in some very tough classes. Oreo is the perfect combination of Kastdemur and Lassenwood genetics, and her sire is a finished champion. We are all waiting in anticipation to see her mature and freshen. Choosing between her and her sister was very difficult, but we finally decided that Oreo's strengths better fit our needs. Oreo is definitely the farm baby, and I think I speak for everyone when we say we are very, very proud of our baby. She is growing up so fast!
Recent Show Wins: Second Place Junior Kid, fourth place dry yearling at Shasta District Fair.

OAK HOLLOW RANCH ISFB CHLOE
SIRE
DAM
Chloe is a single sundgau Alpine doeling who was born on 4/7/14 to our FF, Heidi. She has a great personality and her pedigree shows a lot of promise! We are already loving the strength and levellness of her topline and rump. She is very angular, deep, and dairy. Her dam was the 2014 Reserve Champion 2 year old and her sire's relative was grand. This doeling truly has a ton of potential and I am excited to see how she matures for us!

OAK HOLLOW RANCH LNP NUTMEG ~SOLD~
PEDIGREE
When we chose to breed Rachel to Lassenwood Niko Pluto, I just knew those kids would be something else altogether. Nutmeg, the one buckling out of Rachel's triplets, is everything I could have hoped for at just 13 weeks of age. He is so strong and upstanding, with a strong and nicely sloping topline from withers to hips. His neck is smoothly blending and long. He is already so powerful, with a wide base, and naturally correct stance. He is also a very smoothly blended and overall correct buck. In the May NVDGA buck show he placed 2nd four consecutive times at just 7 weeks of age. He also has the sweetest personality and loves attention from his people more than anything. I have wished many times that there was some way to justify keeping him, but he is too closely related to all of our Nubian does. He would make an excellent herd sire for a dairy herd.
*Nutmeg is now a herd sire for a small dairy herd in Oregon.

OAK HOLLOW RANCH LNP COOKIE ~SOLD~
PEDIGREE
Cookie is the triplet sister of Nutmeg and Oreo, shown above. Cookie is definitely the most dairy out of her siblings and is more reminiscent of classic dairy goat form that is becoming more and more uncommon. This picture does not do her justice! She is a doe made to put everything in the milk bucket. She has very pliable skin and flat bones. Her escuchen is also very wide and will hopefully one day hold a very beautiful udder! She is also impressively tall and angular. Cookie's neck is long and graceful, as it blends neatly into her shoulder. At the May NVDGA show she consistently placed in the upper half of her class and once placed over Oreo. She absolutely LOVES people, which is very important for a dairy animal. However, I should give fair warning that she is not afraid to use her Nubian voice to tell you when she wants some attention! Deciding to sell Cookie has been difficult to say the least, but we try to be very selective in order to keep our herd a manageable size. I truly do believe that she will mature to be a very gorgeous doe. She will really shine as a show and milking doe.
*Cookie is now living in Biggs, CA. She will be shown for 4-H and loved by her new family.
